Specialty Lab Services
- Bioterrain Testing
- provides an in-depth view of your current health. It assesses the efficiency of your digestive, kidney and circulatory functioning. It also gives an indication of the overall “health terrain” for hormonal issues, depression, yeast, digestion problems, diabetes, anxiety, memory loss, tingling and burning in the feet.
- Body Composition Analysis
- provides an evaluation of the body’s water, fat, and muscle mass. This test is particularly useful for persons trying to lose weight.
- Neurotransmitters Testing
- The brain uses neurotransmitters as “communicators” to direct the heart to beat and the lungs to breathe, along with routine actions and functions (e.g., crying, smiling, laughing and the like). When the brain does not have adequate neurotransmitters to relay information to the body, health issues develop that include sleep problems, weight issues, depression, anxiety, low libido, hormonal issues, menopause related symptoms and other related symptoms.
- Genetic Profile Testing
- is a great one-time test for prevention!!! You can change what you wear, what you eat, and what you look like, but you can’t change your genetic profile. Genetic Profile Testing reveals the patient’s genetic makeup and corresponding susceptibility to a variety of diseases. Armed with this in-depth information, patients can make practical lifestyle changes that can provide direct benefits to long-term wellness and disease avoidance. Because each person has thousands of genes, testing can be very expensive. Therefore, genetic testing is broken down into separate categories, so that patients can select which are of greatest importance to them.
- Basic Genetic Test
- identifies genes associated with oxidative stress, bone health, cardiovascular health and lipid metabolism.
- CardioGenomic Plus
- identifies potential genetic susceptibility to hypercholesteremia, obesity, hypertension by nutrition, coronary artery disease, stroke and related issues.
- DetoxiGenomic
- identifies susceptibility to adverse drug reactions and numerous cancers, mood disorders, fatigue syndromes, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities, and neurodegenerative disorders.
- OsteoGenomics
- identifies genes that modulate bone formation, bone breakdown, and inflammation.
- ImmunoGenomics
- uncovers potential genetic susceptibility to: asthma, autoimmune disorders, certain cancers, allergy, infectious diseases, arthritis, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, etc.
- EstroGenomics
- identifies genes that modulate estrogen metabolism, cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis. It also uncovers potential genetic susceptibility to breast cancer, osteoporosis, stroke and heart disease.
- NeuroGenomics
- identifies potential genetic susceptibility to: neurodegenerative disorders, developmental issues, mood disorders, oxidative stress and detoxification capacity.
- Food Allergy Testing
- measures the immediate and delayed reacting antibodies to 115 different foods.
- Gliadin Antibody Assay
- is used in conjunction with Food Allergy Testing to identify a common protein found in many foods containing wheat, barley, rye and oats.
- Candidia Albiacan Assay
- is used to determine early- and late-stage Candidiasis.
- Hair Analysis
- is used to determine whether high levels of various metals are present and is recommended when metal exposure has occurred within the past 2-4 months.
- Urine Toxic Metals
- tests the total body burden of heavy metals from past and present exposure and consists of a four part process: 1) supplementation is used to prepare for the test 2) performance of a baseline urine toxic metal test, 3) receive a DMPS IV to pull out heavy metals, and 4) an immediate retest of urine toxic metal test.
- Packed Red Blood Cells
- red blood cell “elements levels” provide key insights for assessing cardiac influences, anti-inflammatory processes, anemia, glucose tolerance, and other disorders specifically associated with zinc deficiency (dermatitis, poor wound healing, hair loss, and sexual impotence).
- Urine Iodine Test
- iodine is highly concentrated in the thyroid gland and deficiencies result in an enlarged thyroid gland and hypothyroidism. The test consists of a two-part process: 1)Supplementation is used to prepare for the test 2) performance of an iodine test. Low iodine is a cause of intellectual deficiency.
- Comprehensive Stool Analysis (CSA)
- is recommended for persons with gastrointestinal (GI) complaints such as persistent diarrhea, constipation, bloating, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome and malabsorption. If the doctor suspects parasites:
-
- Parsitology Testing
- includes CSA testing (see above) as well as tests for 21 different parasites. Parasites can be unevenly shed in stool, meaning that they can be secreted in the stool one day but not the next. Parasite tests are categorized by the number of collection days.
- FIA 5000
- identifies nutrient deficiencies that could impair overall health and contribute to the progression of chronic disease. (*Insurance Co-pay Options)
- LPP or LPP+
- this advanced test provides an in-depth assessment of heart disease risk (standard cholesterol testing provides only a partial assessment and leaves many people with “normal” readings unaware of significant heart attack risk). LPP measures the size/density and number of LDL and HDL particles where other cholesterol tests do not. (*Insurance Co-pay Options)
*Insurance Co-pay Options: if a patient’s insurance company participates with the servicing lab, the patient may elect to pay a nominal handling fee and the full test fee will be submitted to your insurance company for payment.
Medicare: please note that Medicare will cover some of the above tests. Please ask a staff member for specific details.
