1. What happens if I need to be hospitalized?

Dr. Rathod is not on staff and does not see patients at any hospital. In the event of an emergency, please go to the nearest hospital. For non-emergency care, visit the hospital of your choice. In either case, you may ask that your records be forwarded to Dr. Rathod. Dr. Rathod will then work with the hospitalist via telephone to choose optimal treatment.

2. What if I need to refill my prescription?

For refills, please contact your pharmacy. They will fax us a written request. We ask for 48 hours to process refills. The doctor does not prescribe new prescriptions or treat any new ailment via telephone; we ask that you schedule an appointment for these issues.

3. I have questions for the doctor. May I call in and speak with her?

For a simple question relating to an established issue, you may leave a detailed message for the doctor and a staff member will call back as soon as possible. However if you have multiple questions or concerns about a new issue, an office visit is recommended.

4. I have not been in to see Dr. Rathod in years. May I still schedule an appointment?

You must be seen at least once every three years. If more than three years have passed since your last office visit, we require that you return via the new patient process.

5. May I return my supplements?

For your safety, we have a no return policy. Certain supplements require protection from direct heat and sunlight. Please address any questions or concerns prior to purchasing supplements.
